We covered Sexual Immorality in my Men's Group this evening. Some pretty heavy stuff. I was introduced to a preacher man named Perry Noble, and what the Apostle Paul states was the Biblical solutions for keeping away from sexual immorality.  Answer: Marriage. THANKS CHET. working on that. There was some good lessons that were drawn out of this subject. Pretty heavy for my first visit to  Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa 's Men's Bible Study. Here's one of the many things I detest about the NoH8 campaign, the gays that are blatantly fighting for a hierarchical position as a family structure, women who believe that they need to have everything just so that they aren't being "taken advantage of" and liberals who don't understand Christianity. Don't belittle my beliefs to promote your own. I understand you might not accept Jesus Christ as your savior, but don't try to evaporate or water down the religion by making it "uncool" to believe in it verbatim. Sure there were things that went down in the Bible that aren't popular ways of doing things today - but you have to understand the Bible encompasses thousands of years of history. This Chick-Fil-A Thing Getting A Little Carried Away. This Is My Response To Jackson A Pearce And Her Chick-Fil-A Rants. I caught this viral video from JacksonAPearce and Upworthy, a blog who initially i had circled and was starting to like, until i really started hearing what they were saying. Now i understand what people mean when they say that "Liberalism" is about pushing an agenda to everyone. No longer are we okay with the melting pot being a place where everyone can make a name for themselves, and believe what they want to believe. In just a short span of time, homosexual and atheist America are seeking to subvert the morales, and traditions that have long since existed in cities all across this nation. The black becomes white, the white black, and then they all are bled with a copious amount of gray; so much gray that we don't realize where black is, nor where white. You turn your head at the fork left or right, seemingly the landscape has been changed...

Many times when I discuss gay marriage, or civil rights in regards to the LGBT crowd, I'm hearing a lot of comparisons to other races of people. In fact there is almost a push from the LGBT community to look at this as though it is racism, and as though gay people are a race of people instead of a group of people who share a preference for a certain type of activity. I do believe that people who identify themselves as LGBT should have the right to marry each other, but there are red flags firing off when that discussion turns towards adoption, and gay parenting. When I ask myself if it's alright for the LGBT to adopt, there is an immediate hesitation, and then a shaking of the head that occurs. Parenting? really? Isn't this something that is uniquely not gay. And by that I mean, the LGBT community is made up of people who chose to live an alternative lifestyle, one where the typical male female intercourse was rejected and instead they decided to go a different rout...

I've got to say, I don't like it when a woman tells a man what a real man does. But I can appreciate getting into the Bible, so yeah. This is a continuation of the previous blog . Just to be fair, i don't think Christians overtly are trying to turn this gay marriage debate into a "you need to believe in my God, or you don't get to be married" issue - because they are okay with atheists getting married, and hindus, sikhs, jews, any other religion. i know that it's very popular to be pro-gay right now, just like it's popular to be pro-woman (and particularly woman acting in roles that were generally and stereotypically male roles in decades prior). I didn't mean for anyone to get an unfair amount of pressure for stating their beliefs. I think that the LGBT community can be a lot more graceful about the way that they go about trying to get their rights. It's as if they are winning this via a culture war, and they've made it UNCO...
